Long-standing TMR favourite Mellah attacks ignorance and privilege on his painfully illuminating new single 'Easy Breezy'. Having always had something important to say in his lyrics, 'Easy Breezy' is perhaps his most direct offering to date. Shining an unflinching light on the vast and abhorrent inequalities that continue to permeate our society under the guise of an upbeat pop song, the track itself resembles the way in which people with more privileges can comparatively drift through life, whilst others are constantly faced with obstacles and prejudices that are imposed upon them through no fault of their own. Arriving alongside the announcement of 3 new EPs, titled Them, Us and Me respectively, 'Easy Breezy' if the first taste of Them, out on Columbia Records on the 10th of June.
